Shepherds Bush is an area of west London in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The main thoroughfares are Goldhawk Road, Uxbridge Road and Askew Road, all containing a large number of small and mostly independent shops, pubs and restaurants. It is bordered by Hammersmith to the south/south-west, Brook Green to the south/south-east, Holland Park (and then Notting Hill) to the east.
Although it is primarily residential in character, its main focus is the shopping area of Shepherds Bush Green, the north side of which is home to the Westfield shopping centre, with its variety of designer labels and high street brands and variety of gourmet restaurants.

Westfield is the largest urban shopping centre in Europe. The south side of Shepherds Bush Green is also the home to another shopping centre known as WEST12 with shops and amenities such as Vue cinema, a gym and a supermarket.
In the last five years Shepherds Bush has seen a massive level of investment via the Westfield shopping centre, resulting in Shepherds Bush Overground Station, Shepherds Bush Underground Station (central line) allowing commuters quick and easy access to central London and beyond other areas. Shepherds bush Green has also had a face lift transformation for the better.
